The idea for this resource stemmed from a bad day.

And what this bad day helped me remember.

It was a Saturday evening this past summer, after arriving home from the most relaxing spa day celebrating a friend's birthday, I started feeling a little queasy.

Fast forward a few hours and I'm up all night with food poisoning. I highly suspect it was the lunch we had that day. Grrr...

I woke up Sunday morning, thinking (or tricking myself into thinking) I was fine, only to find myself dizzy and nauseous on my couch from at 10am.

Around dinner time, I caught myself 'poor me-ing' myself, so I forced myself to think of 3 gratitudes (always helps when I get into a mood) and something I realized was that while this sucked, I was grateful it wasn't something more serious and also realized that I was in the middle of living out something that I once wished so badly for.

No, struggling and being knocked out most of a Sunday was NOT a wish of mine...

But having 'life happen' and being able to take as much time as I need to deal and heal rather than worrying about Monday or the work week ahead absolutely was.

I knew I was probably going to be a little out of it Monday morning and if this were 3 years ago, I would have been anxious about having to email my boss for permission to take off the next day, annoyed about using one of my five sick days, and stressed about not being able to prepare for the week ahead.

Instead, I was able to focus on the only thing that mattered: rest and repair.

The freedom that I have in my life today, thanks to overcoming old limiting beliefs, wanting more and taking the action to get it, makes life so much easier...even on the hardest days.

Time freedom and making your own schedule might not be a prayer or dream of yours. We all have very different desires but all human desires typically lead back to the same thing: freedom.

Whether it be time, location, financial, mental or emotional, more freedom is something many of us want but aren't sure how to create or aren't sure if it's possible for us. We're typically stopped by self-doubt and fear.

I know that because I was once in those shoes.

Reflecting on all this had me thinking "how can I turn this into something that will help my community?" So, I wrote out a couple of the initial actions I took to change my life from feeling stuck and *wishing* for more flexibility and time freedom to one where those things are now my reality.

Again, those might not be your desires but the steps I took can help regardless of what yours look like. If you're interested in what my very beginning steps looked like, dig in!

there is no change big or small that is out of reach for you. I live by the quote: "where there's a will there's a way."

So whether it's your career, your confidence, your friendships, your habits, your health, your relationships, the money you wish you were making, the time you wish you had - just know you get to shift, change, create, or build whatever you want.

It'll take effort, belief, and action from you, I'm not about the "just think about it and you will have it" popular mentality. No no no. Just because you want something doesn't mean it's going to be yours.

But that's why I share what I share here and try to make everything as tangible as possible so that getting started doesn't have to feel so hard or out of reach.
