UU was born from my own life & career pivot...
For years I suspected elementary school teaching was not the role or path I wanted to pursue.
I wanted a life where I was making a living doing work that fulfilled me, impacted others and gave me more autonomy with my time and schedule.
I was a creative at heart with a freebird soul, so I was tired of being told when and how to work and where to put my creativity and time.
I was even more tired of driving to work with that pit in my stomach knowing I was about to spend 8 hours of the day ahead in a job I felt incredibly misaligned in.
I was deeply aware that I was made for something else.
The turning point happened when I got clear about what I wanted.
For years I'd contemplate a career change but never really knew how or what I'd do next. So, I stayed.
Momentum began the moment I got real about what I really wanted and the life I was meant to build. I couldn't unsee it and that lit a fire in me.
That was the pivot point for me.
From there I was able to see new options I hadn't considered before. I felt a surge of confidence and energy to take steps forward and figure it out.
In under one year from said 'pivot point', I'd left schools, had a more creative job that gave me schedule flexibility and location freedom, and was building a business on the side.
A lot can change in just a year when you know who you are and what you want.
I've poured the lessons, actions and insights from changing my life into Uplevel Unlocked so that you can hit your pivot point and jumpstart the change process with whatever you're feeling stuck or less than wildly satisfied with.
